DIY- Infused Booze Holiday Gifts

These DIY infused booze holiday gifts are simple, cute, and inexpensive. You can make them in under an hour and customize them for your friends,family or coworkers. If you are on a budget, have an adult gift exchange or love to hand crafted gifts,this how-to is just for you!

Below I listed my infused booze holiday favorites, each recipe calls for a fifth of alcohol. If you want to do a variety,split the recipe in half and grab some pints. Allow the mixture to rest for two weeks in a cool dark place, shaking it up every so often. (6 times)

Cranberry, Lime and Rosemary Infused Vodka

Ingredients
  1. 32 ounces of Vodka
  2. 1 cup fresh cranberries
  3. 2 limes, just the peels
  4. 8 sprigs of rosemary
  5. 4 teaspoons of raw sugar
  6. 8- 1/2 pint jars
Instructions
  1. Wash ingredients and disperse the cranberries and lime peels evenly in each jar. Add a small sprig of rosemary and 1/2 teaspoon of sugar to each jar. Last pour the vodka in all jars, and seal them shut.
  2. Serve with gingerale or on the rocks.
Notes
  1. Allow the mixture to rest for two weeks in a cool dark place, shaking it up every so often. (6 times)
  2. Don't forget to place the mason jars in dishwasher, or prepare them using the directions from the manufacturer.

 Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire

Infused booze are the perfect DIY gifts as well as party preps. Chestnuts, pear, cinnamon, and red pepper make up this brandy infused cocktail.

 

Chestnut, Cinnamon, Red Pepper Pear Infused Brandy

Ingredients
  1. 1 fifth of brandy
  2. 8 chestnuts
  3. 2 pears
  4. 4 cinnamon sticks
  5. red pepper flakes
Instructions
  1. Roast the chestnuts at 400 degrees for 35 minutes, mixing them around occasionally. Allow time to cool.
  2. Break the cinnamon sticks in half and place in each jar.
  3. Cut each pear into 4 pieces and place 1 piece in each one.
  4. Sprinkle red pepper flakes and a some sugar.
  5. Last peel the chestnuts, add 1 to each jar
  6. Add Brandy to each jar and seal shut.

  2. 1 small pineapple, sliced
  3. 3 jalepeños, sliced and seeded
  4. 2 limes, just juice
  5. 4 teaspoons of agave

  1. Prepare all ingredients and place them evenly in each jar.
  2. Seal them shut.

Coffee Bean and Chocolate Infused Bourbon

  1. 32 ounces of Bourbon- one fifth
  2. 1/2 cup of coffee beans
  3. 1 chocolate baking square- unsweetened
  4. 1 container of chocolate nibs
Instructions
  1. Place all ingredients into cup and add bourbon.
  2. Seal it shut.

Your guest will need to strain it when they serve, so I love to give an extra mason jar lids with the tops drilled out. You can buy them from places like Michael’s or JoAnne Fabric, or you can make them using a drill. Make it festive or personalize it with an initial, either would be appreciated for ease while serving and fun while enjoying. Decorate the jars with ribbon, fabric and tags, or serve it straight up for the perfect gift for a guy!
