Hottest bridal beauty trends for 2016

We are so excited to share our favorite and hottest bridal beauty trends for 2016. The runways at New York Bridal Fashion Week were transformed into a whimsical fairy tale for spring/summer 2016. “Mirror, mirror on the wall who’s the fairest of them all?” Well it’s you beautiful Bride to be and your once upon a time begins now.  The shades and silhouettes of the gowns inspire the color palette and shape of the makeup and hair looks.  When choosing a trend, we recommend to stay true to your personal style and allow  your skin tone and facial attributes determine the overall look.

Look 1- Sexy Bride

The (not so) Sweet Heart Neckline- This plunging and dramatic spin on a sweet heart is perfect for the bride who likes to take risks. Swapping the hemline from the front to the back of the dress drapes dangerously low and tightly fit for the ultimate sex appeal. The scalloped edges and layers from matte Venice lace made a huge appearance this season from several designers. Anyone who is looking to show off some skin but staying classy makes this dress the right choice! It seems this dress has white details which to me would look great on more of an olive skin tone!

A sleek braided bun will create simplicity and texture to keep the focus on the makeup or detail of the dress. Changing the texture, volume proportion and placement of the bun will help soften or accentuate different areas of your face.

This look can be breathtaking for all eye colors, and the good news is if you choose the right shade you can intensify your eyes.

Green-pink, red and blue shadows

Brown- brown, coral, and purple shadows

Blue- golds and orange colors for blue eyes!

Even the most dramatic brides should just choose 1-2 of the tones, but trust us your eyes will glow!

Look 2- Fit For a Queen

This season you will notice a spin on traditional mermaid cuts with silhouette inspired by ancient royalty.  Intricate embellishments decorate the bodest making it easy for brides to look like part of the royal family. We love the beaded details, it seems as if anyone wearing it will sparkle and shine at all angles! Love this color white on warm skin tones! Swept away hair and soft makeup compliments this style of dress the most.

For this type of look, it goes well with hazel or green eye colors! The neutral browns and slightly glitter to the shadow can really bring out the beauty in the eye color! Also, if any bride has a busier detailed dress and just wants to keep it simple with the makeup but to still seem fancy, this look is the way to go!

Neutral yet sexy set eye! Perfect for any dress type, used to dress up and plain gown or enhance a busy beaded one!

I love hair down with this look for brides who don’t want to look to wide. The length on the hair helps carry the eye vertical instead of horizontal. Braids can be a fun way to add texture and feminity with the ultimate romantic feel.

Last look we would love to share with you is this beautiful neutral, winged tip that is great for round set eyes and or any eye color. We know everyone loves the look for more intense winged liner as its trending all over social media, but proceed with caution. Wing at your own risk! This look is great for any type of dress style! The white liner set in the waterline of the eye really helps to make your eyes look bigger and brighter! Who wouldn’t want more romantic eyes on their wedding day!?
